China's automotive stamping industry must coordinate with the transformation and development of the entire automotive industry
2019-09-29 11:14:56

China's automobile industry is in an important period of development. Building a strong automobile country will become a national development strategy. Green, environmental protection, high efficiency and safety are the development trend of automobile industry. In order to realize the transformation, upgrading and development of automobile industry and improve the overall development level of automobile industry, China has proposed to vigorously develop energy-saving and new energy automobile industry. China's automotive parts industry must coordinate with the transformation and development of the entire automotive industry. In the future, it will focus on the development strategy of parts, transformation and upgrading, policy research, technological innovation, standards and regulations, zero cooperation, common platform construction, industrial internationalization, industrial cluster development and practical services.

Automobile stamping parts

Product technology strength is the core factor for enterprises to participate in market competition. The strength of foreign spare parts enterprises comes from huge R&D investment and continuous technological innovation. Domestic enterprises have been lacking in this respect. At present, domestic automobile parts suppliers generally adopt the "drawing processing" mode, that is, automobile manufacturers provide product data and drawings to suppliers, the latter according to the drawings for production and manufacturing.

Most enterprises do not fully grasp the core technology of products, and the product market is mostly in the middle and low-end, with few high-end. In the automotive electronic control technology, especially in the power system, fuel consumption, emissions, safety and other electronic control components, technology lags behind, and some areas are blank. Facing the trend of diversified development of automotive energy in the future, as well as the increasingly stringent requirements of energy saving, environmental protection and safety, spare parts enterprises are required not only to have basic development capabilities, but also to have advanced technology development capabilities. For this reason, the technological development ability of spare parts enterprises will be more tested.

However, with the intensification of market competition in automotive stamping parts, domestic spare parts enterprises gradually increase investment in research and development of new products and new technologies. According to the data of R&D investment of the top 30 listed companies in China Auto Newspaper in 2012, the average proportion of R&D investment in most enterprises is 2.70% and the average investment amount is 244 million yuan.

Among them, Weichai Power's R&D investment accounted for 4.14% of business income, with a total amount of 1.966 billion yuan. Yunnei Power's R&D investment in 2012 increased by 22.15% compared with the same period last year. It also increased its R&D investment in "D25TCI Common Track Project" and "Euro-5 Diesel Engine Development". The direct result of the increase in R&D investment is that in recent years, many new technologies and products have emerged in the automotive parts industry, such as in-cylinder direct injection technology, electronically controlled high-pressure common rail technology, dual clutch transmission technology, etc. In recent years, turbocharging technology has been continuously improved.
